Waiting and waiting

Most Christians have heard, maybe even prayed, Isaiah 40:29-31,

He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

Waiting is difficult for our fleshly nature, yet God is patient in exercising his kindness, and in acting on our behalf. More often than we like to consider the Bible talks about the need to wait patiently for God to act, Psalm 25:1-3,

To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust;
let me not be put to shame;
let not my enemies exult over me.
Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;
they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

Pray impudent, bold, brazen, faith filled prayers today (Luke 11:8), then wait for God to answer, his timing is always perfect.
